Covid 19 Update

From all of us at Ruby’s, we want to say thank you for your continuing support and loyalty in what has truly been an unprecedented time for everyone. As a family-run business, we understand the importance of protecting those we hold most dear, and with many weddings and events being rescheduled, it is absolutely vital that you are able to trust your caterer to prepare your guests’ food in a manner that is hygienic and risk-free. 

Our mission has always been to provide the UK’s best quality authentic Sri Lankan and South Indian food, and in that respect, nothing has changed. While the health crisis continues we want you to know that you and your guests can still enjoy Ruby’s products with confidence, safe in the knowledge that your food is prepared diligently to the highest of safety standards. 

What we are doing

We are already the proud recipient of a high food hygiene rating, which is a reflection of our daily determination to prepare food in the safest and most hygienic way possible. However, even though we are ensuring our already strict operating standards are upheld at every step, we know that unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures. 

That’s why in addition to our day-to-day precautions we are carefully monitoring the advice and guidelines of the CDC and food experts. We have tightened our procedures with regards to sanitation and all of our staff are regularly educated and coached in all advisable preventative measures. We will continue to do this as the CDC updates and changes its guidelines in the future.

What about my booking?

If you have booked Ruby’s Events Catering for a wedding or event between now and the end of 2021, try not to worry. We have pledged to be super flexible with our calendar over the next 12 months and we have already helped customers reschedule, rather than cancel, their big events. If you do need to reschedule, we will work with you to minimise the disruption to your event. Things are stressful enough right now, so let us help!
